The COTA-III Coffee Table does not boast any special features. Nor does it claim to be THE coffee table. It will quietly perform any function that may be required of it, and exude a self-confidence and simple elegance as it will continue doing so for as long as it may be required to. The table top is an oval shaped sheet of tempered and bevelled glass, measuring 52 inches by 25 inches – generous by any standards. To further increase the large surface available, two more, slightly smaller, horizontal surfaces are neatly stacked under the main top. Their oval shape mimics and complements the upper surface’s graceful curves. The legs are formed from light metal tubing with a gleaming brushed finish. To each leg is welded an arm of rectangular metal tubing finished to the same standard as the legs. These arms reach out towards the centre of the table where they form strong supports for the lower tiers of glass – two for the upper layer and two for the lower.
